Cave of the Winds Mountain Park
Cave of the Winds Mountain Park is a 35-acre adventure park perched above Williams Canyon near Manitou Springs. Since 1881, visitors have been exploring the limestone caverns that formed over 500 million years ago. Today the park offers guided cave tours ranging from family-friendly Lantern Tours to extreme Wild Tours, plus aboveground thrills including the Terror-Dactyl (a 50mph plunge from a 1,200-foot cliff), Via Ferrata rock climbing routes, the Bat-a-Pult slingshot, and zip lines. The cave maintains a constant 54°F year-round.
