Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is America's only mountain zoo, situated on the side of Cheyenne Mountain at 6,714 feet elevation. It is consistently ranked among the top zoos in the country and has been Cheyenne Mountain's neighbor since 1926. The zoo is home to more than 750 animals representing 170+ species. Highlights include hand-feeding giraffes, an African Rift Valley exhibit, Rocky Mountain Wild exhibit, and a scenic ski lift to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun.
